How it works

From FPL state to a decision

Link your numeric FPL entry ID and Foresight XI reads the public deadline information FPL makes available. When changes made after a deadline are still private, the team check lets you confirm transfers, chips and captaincy without supplying your Premier League password.

The current team state is then evaluated against the active projection model. The production optimiser compares legal squad and transfer paths over the rolling horizon and keeps the exact result as the final recommendation arbiter.

What you get

One recommendation with the supporting context

The Decision view can recommend rolling a transfer or making changes, show the bank/free-transfer impact, select captain and vice-captain, and compare chip timing now versus later Gameweeks.

Model Squad lets you explore what the model would build independently of your team. Squad Builder lets you test a custom squad without linking an FPL account. The Record preserves recommendation evidence so results can be reviewed after the Gameweek rather than rewritten with hindsight.

Data timing

Why a team check can appear after a deadline

FPL does not immediately expose every post-deadline change publicly. Foresight XI stores your last confirmed state and asks you only for information that is not yet public. If an FPL refresh temporarily fails, an already confirmed team remains available rather than being treated as unlinked.

Known limitations

What the model does not know perfectly

Projections are estimates, not guarantees. Injuries, late team news, tactical changes, price moves and unexpected minutes can make reality differ from the model after an analysis is produced.

During international breaks, Foresight XI does not directly ingest a complete feed of national-team minutes, travel load, national-team injuries, media reports or predicted line-ups. Official FPL availability/status and the normal model refresh process still feed into the product, but there is no invented fatigue penalty for data Foresight XI does not actually possess.

Exact uncached analysis can take several minutes. Queued work is persistent, so leaving or reloading the page does not require repeated submissions.

Privacy & independence

Public FPL linking, not your FPL password

The Early Access linking flow uses public FPL data plus the team-state confirmations you choose to provide. Foresight XI does not ask for, receive or store your Premier League password or FPL refresh token.
