From account creation to your first recommendation.
You can use Model Squad and Squad Builder without linking a team. Personalised decisions need your numeric FPL entry ID and a usable current team state.
1 · Find your entry ID
Use the number for your FPL team
Your entry ID is the numeric identifier for your Fantasy Premier League team. It is not your email address and Foresight XI does not need your Premier League password.
2 · Link and confirm
Let Foresight XI establish your current squad
After linking, Foresight XI reads the latest public FPL deadline squad. If you have made transfers, activated a chip or changed captaincy after that deadline, use the team check to tell Foresight XI what changed.
Around a deadline, Official FPL can take time to publish the latest squad. If the team is genuinely not public yet, retry later. If you already have a confirmed team and a refresh temporarily fails, your saved team remains usable.
3 · Generate
Ask for the current personalised decision
Generate uses the current confirmed team state and active model. Cached/precomputed work is normally quick. A genuinely fresh exact optimisation can take several minutes.
If a job says queued or running, do not repeatedly click Generate. The job is stored safely and continues if you leave or reload.
4 · Read the result
Transfers, captaincy and chips are evaluated together
The Decision view shows the recommended transfer action, free-transfer and bank effect, captain/vice-captain and chip timing. Recommendations are decision support based on projections; they are not guaranteed points.
Account controls
Disconnect is different from delete
Disconnect FPL removes the linked FPL team state and recommendation history while leaving your Foresight XI account and Squad Builder history available.
Delete account removes the Foresight XI login and user-owned application data. Use Account on the signed-in dashboard for both controls.
FAQ
Common questions
Do I need to give Foresight XI my FPL password?
No. The current linking flow uses your public numeric entry ID and asks you to confirm only post-deadline changes that FPL has not yet exposed publicly.
Why is my latest FPL team not showing immediately?
FPL can take time around deadlines to publish the latest public squad. Retry the team check once processing has completed.
Why can Generate take a few minutes?
A fresh uncached request runs the exact optimisation rather than using an approximation. Queued work persists safely in the background.
Can I use Foresight XI without linking my team?
Yes. Model Squad and Squad Builder are available without a linked FPL entry.
What happens during international breaks?
Normal model/FPL availability inputs continue to update, but Foresight XI does not currently have a complete direct feed of national-team minutes, travel load or media/predicted-lineup information. See About for the full limitation.
